is Channel 7 still in service? I have herd that rual stations are going over to the SNACC system.

As recently as within the last few days I have been hearing Laughlin and Indian Springs/Mt. Charleston fire traffic on VHF as in the past. These transmissions have been patched into the SNACC system from time to time.

The VHF repeaters can often be heard in the Kingman area so it makes for something different.
