I can help with a couple off the top of my head -

02-002 thru 02-012 are patch channels Usually used at night when dispatch staffing is minimal by Reno Police and Washoe County Sheriff - both agencies will run plates etc on one channel - but just about anything could show up

14-021 is Reno Tahoe International Airport - OPS 1 (operations)
14-127 is Washoe County School District - Maintenance

02-034 turns out to be the Federal Protective Service at the Federal court house here in Reno.

I have been catching that one off and on for awhile. So yesterday I caught about 20 minutes of conversation about bringing down jurys, and ordering food for jurys. I have been on both county and federal jurys. The county court uses Washoe deputies who use thier last names (Deputy Smith is code 4), were as the Feds use numbers or just last names. The other part is that the Feds escort thier jurys were as the county deputies do not.

Basically, I got real lucky!

03-031 and 03-033 are TM Main on different repeaters. You're going to hear VFD page tones and any other county calls on them. 03-032 is the only one that's listed in the database but 03-031 and 03-033 are just other repeaters. It's good to put all 3 of them in your scan list because the pages are not simulcast.

Yea no problem.

Apparently 03-032 is the only one that's in the database and the tag on it is "Fire" which is just TM Main. 03-031 and 03-033 need to get put in there. They're just different repeaters for it, but the same traffic is not simulcast across all 3 TG's. It's nice because sometimes the VHF isn't coming across well if i'm having interference.

Sparksfireman9834: Do you work for SFD?

Ok this is a little off topic, but i monitor Washoe EDACS on my bc780. But lately i havent been able to hear anything (ID wise). All the 800Mhz freqs are in LCN, and ive double checked it. Im still using the same antenna, its meant for VHF-hi, i know its the wrong type of antenna, but it used to work for it, and i still does pick up traffic when i scan the freqs not the id's (hope that makes sense). Any help would be great.

Is your scanner in trunked mode - the 780 is easy to knoclk out of trunked mode if you are scanning the freqs it sounds like you are in coventional mode - also make sure you don't have the data channel locked out.
