pro 97 question

I am trying to program the local information. I have the frequencies ( they use EDACS) but there are seom codes DEC and AFS, how do I get those into the scanner?

Follow these directions, it's easier to use the DEC to store them, and switch to AFS later

Jerri, Im wondering why on EDACS would you reccommend DEC vs AFS?

Just because I find them easier to program in, you can simply change them over once they are in using the F 2. I use the AFS format just program with the DEC.

No doubt it'll save in number of times pressing keys. I.e., each AFS requires 2+1+3 = 6 and DEC requires max of 4.
