Input GRE600 or the Uniden 996?

Hey Guys Im looking for some input on the 2 scanners Ive got the Pro 96 and want to go to a base digital. Ive seen alot of threads on the 996, Some good some bad. Not much out there yet on the GRE600. Ive been at a toss up on the 2 since Christmas. Any imput from the owners of each will go into my consideration. Thanks In Advance..........Hoser

I have a Pro-96 since they first came out and did not think I could find a better scanner. I purchased the PSR500 two months ago and it is even better than the Pro-96 in terms of flexibility and additional features such as LTR, upgradeable, etc. I really like the Lists feature along with the V-Folders. Can really change quickly between systems. I also like the way it handles the Trunk Systems (no more FM freqeuncies between MARCS 800 frequencies).
