delay and hold

i dont ever think this has been brought up but just out of curiosity, what do you all have your scanners set to. personally i have mine at delay 2 and hold 1

Never found any advantage to the 1-2 hold, so I use "0" for conventional sys. I know in theory, the hold causes the scanner to search again in the same system, but I could never find that it was any more effective at catching a transmission. PSP is duplex, which should be a good case for this, but it never really caught the next transmission any better than having all sys=0. Would be interested to hear other comments on this, and overall scanning is faster at "0"

i am running mine at delay 4 and hold 1. I want it to run faster through the channels but sometimes it takes the people around here a bit to respond. Maybe it's due to the cold

Delay at 2 and Hold at either 1 or 0 depending on what it is.
