2 children shot 9301 elwood in Phoenix

Just caught the very beginning of the incident, now being handled at C deck 8, a 5 year old and an 8 year old were shot while playing in a park. First officers on scene began performing CPR on one child and administering first aid to the other, fire has now taken both children to the hospital. Shells have been found near where the children were found, looks like this was an intentional shooting. Suspect is a hispanic male 15 to 16 years old riding a BMX bike officers are now canvassing the area with the help of air 23.

How sad hopefully the kids will be ok and the shooter is caught.

Boy, not a very merry xmas for the 2 boys... Hope both will be OK and recover. As for the shooter, 15 to 16, he's old enough to know, perhaps tried as an adult?

Account set up for boys slain in park

Bank of America has opened a fund for the families of the two boys who died after being beaten in a west Phoenix park.

A bank representative said the public can help the families by making a deposit to account 457013942533 at any Bank of America branch.

The money will go to the families of Jesse Ramirez, 7, and Edwin Pellecier, 10.
