Default Need the ending to the story!

Wednesday evening I was listening to PRWN when the incident occured with the two people shot in the car on west Thomas. At that point it was just a general description of the assailants. I had to leave and when I came back they had a perimeter around the suspect's house and they were bringing everyone out. It was so cool that they didn't encrypt it! But I have two questions maybe someone can answer? 1. How did they know where the suspects were, and 2. Why was homicide called in? I thought they got everyone out of the house without any incidents. Can anyone fill in the blanks? This is better than Prison Break and 24 for action......

Hey.. I think I was listening to that one also. The one at 43rd Ave and Thomas? Yeah I'd like to know what happnened with that also, I saw stuff on the news but now I can't find anything about it on their sites.. it was pretty awesome to hear all that in the clear without encryption. The sh** really hit the fan on Wednesday in Maryvale, had like 2 shootings and a bunch more hot calls kick out in under an hour, they even had a bunch of 400 officers head up there and help with the traffic. Anyways, can't really fill in the blanks but I'd like to know the outcome of it as well!

Yeah, that's the one. They had mom talking to him on the cell phone then they brought out the woman and kids and the last guy. It was like missing an episode though. One minute they had no idea and then they were surrounding the house. Great police work there. I saw in the paper just a little blurb that two men were shot but neither seemed to die, that's why I was wondering why homicide got brought in. Dang, we can't get reruns on this.....

It doesn't seem out of the norm for homicide to work an (almost homicide). That's their thing.

I think I heard that, they were looking for someone named Chapo. I think he was the shooter, I think people in the neighborhood knew where he lived and that's how police made it to that address.

Ah, yeah I was trying to listen but the digital reception where I'm at is terrible, so I'm used to missing out on a lot.. that's weird, I could of sworn that they said over the air that it was a 451 (homicide).. maybe they just thought it was going to go fatal and it didn't, I dunno..

I was hearing the main traffic for the "homicide" on A Deck 8 (TG/2992). There was also another shooting call on C Deck 8 (TG/2960) that was in the area of the first one so it got pretty confusing at times which call was which. They moved all regular A Deck traffic to C Deck 10.

That's probably where my confusion lies - there were two different incidents in the same area. The first shooting I heard may not have been related to the second set of events where they pulled the people out of the house. Guess we'll never know.......
