There is a protest against Sheriff Joe this afternoon in the area of the 4th Ave Jail, and it may be expanding to other jails in the area, and the Sheriff's headquarters.
There is also a pro-Sheriff Joe counter-protest group.
Activity is primarily on West Tac (43216). Try Protective Services on 44272 as well. 3920 - Jail Transportation Security just came active with comms reference this.
Phoenix PD is also involved. I'm not monitoring the RWC at the moment, but they're most likely on encrypted C-deck talkgroups anyways.

This thread is not for folks to show their like or dislike for Sheriff Joe. It is only to advise those interested, of this activity. I don't want this thread to degenerate into an arguement between those who are pro vs con. Thanks.
