Exclamation MCSO Pursuit

MCSO started a pursuit near Hunt Highway & Higley today following a carjacked vehicle. The pursuit turned southbound onto a dirt road in the area where the pursuit was still maintaining about 100 mph. MCSO lost the vehicle but when working with Gila River PD and PCSO picked up the vehicle on a dirt road west of AZ87 near Sacaton. The vehicle was abandoned and the dog is currently on a scent with tracks leading southbound from their area. It's unclear right now what road they're on...sounds like they're all dirt roads.

MCSO East TG/43248

Turned the scanner on just as they started it - they called for air support because they couldn't keep up (shots were reportedly fired as well).

What are common air frequecies (haven't heard any so far)?

I haven't been listening for air frequencies. Making entry into the trailer now.

Might be a wild goosechase...units with Gila River PD now following tracks near an irrigation ditch in the cotton field.

Search has been called off. Units meeting back up at the abandoned vehicle.
