999 Officer Shot

Officer has been shot at 17th St / Myrtle. Officers engaged in a pursuit after that - the suspect vehicle then stopped and had a short shootout with officers. The vehicle is still stopped and units are setting up a perimeter around it. SAU and the air unit are on scene.

Correction - It appears that there is NOT an officer shot, however he did have 5-10 shots put through his windshield. Numerous shots have been fired by both the suspect and officers. Right now the suspect is slumped over in his vehicle, not moving.

Update: Unknown if the suspect is down or not. SAU is on scene and has set up around the vehicle around 11th St / Montebello.

With a little luck, one of the PD rounds put our friend out of his misery.
