999 Officer Shot

A Phoenix Police officer has been shot at 83rd Ave / Indian School, at a check cashing store.

The officer had CPR performed on him at the scene, and was taken to St. Joes in critical condition.

SAU/SWAT teams are on scene.. MCSO and DPS are assisting with the search for the suspect.

This is on PhxPD Channel C Deck 8 (talkgroup 2960), MCSO West dispatch, and DPS Central.

Hopefully the officer will be okay.

For anyone that didn't catch an update story today on this, the couple that shot the Officer had talked about taking his handcuffs for a souivenere. Some really stupid people out there these days.
