Default Luke AFB silent

Has anyone else been having trouble getting Luke AFB. System seems to have gone silent. At first, I thought it was because of the 396 update to the firmware. I checked all the frequencies, and was no longer able to get the control channel. So, I pulled out my old Radio Shack Pro-64 and manually entered the frequencies. Was unable to get a control channel. Granted, the Pro-64 doesn't trunk or pick up digital, but it still will pick up the "buzz" on the control channel. Neither radio picks up the CC.

Has there been a change to their system? Can anyone in the west valley confirm that the CC is still on the air?

It looks like Luke changed their frequencies. The control channel is now on 408.9625. You will also need to change your band plan and adjust the step size to 12.5khz.

I will monitor to determine the rest of the new frequencies.

Did they switchover a Project 25 TRS, with a 9600 baud data channel?

Did this system use frequencies in the 411-417 range prior to this change? The NTIA directive that changed the 406-420 federal band plan just came out in January of this year. We have been seeing major changes in the frequencies used to link remote bases and repeaters on natural resource agency radio systems here in California in response to this directive.

Looks like they went narrowband in the 407-410 range. The old freqs appeared ro be wideband spacing in the same band.
