AZ Milair?

Just wondering if there's much activity here? I'm in Metro Phoenix during the week and Prescott on weekends. Neither locale seems to offer much in the way of mil-air (I've done a few half-hearted searches but never catch anything).

Does anyone maintain a list? I've checked Milaircomms.com but there's not much there for AZ. What is there never seems to be active.

I just bought a Pro-96 yesterday. I programed this up today using Win96 (thank god for that software) and have been hearing stuff on channel 10, 15 and 20. I have a UHF 450-470 "phantom" antennaex antenna on my car and was still able to here comm up around Union Hills Rd on 101 today. This is all AM too if you do not know. It comes in scratchy but you can make out what they are saying.

I was hearing a lot of chatter on channel 1 last night and today also. I guess they will all be active at some point but those are thee ones that I hear the most on. 20 seems to be weather or something.

Try these also. Found them today and they are active for Luke AFB. I will submit it to the Frequency Coordinator on Monday.

I am going to listen to the VHF ones that I have too. If I hear those frequencies being active I will let you know. I just want to submit a bunch instead of a little at a time to make it easier for them. Those frequencies are active though. I programed them in and they were active right away.

I have not heard anyone talk on the emergency frequencies yet. I would assume that they would if they had some type of in flight emergency or something. I am working on the rest of the TG's.
