The city of Peoria has migrated to the RWC TRS.

Check here for the TGID's: Scanner Frequencies: Regional Wireless Cooperative (RWC) Trunking System, Phoenix, Arizona

Thanks for the fast reply. I will be busy learning to program them in to the radio. I down loaded the Uniden program. After 40 years of scanning, this is by far the most complicated radio. I am sure once I get the hang of it, it will seem easy. Thanks again for the reply.

There are a number of fellow scannerists in the Phoenix area that will be able to provide advice on how to listen to them. There are some issues with monitoring the RWC TRS, depending upon how you program your scanner. I'll let those in your area give you advice on that one

Have fun!

Thanks,

I appreciate any help. I have the Uniden program, and I just down loaded Free Scan. I still have no idea where to start. I have the Peoria talk groups from the site you directed me to. All I want is Peoria. Any sugestions where to start?

Well, I am a Radio Shack and GRE fan. I have no experience with Unidens, except for the really old Unidens

Since you want to hear Peoria, I would plug in the Peoria related frequencies, Sites 501 and 502. This of course assumes your radio can handle 700mhz TRS.

Anyone in the forum can feel free to chime in here

My internet has been down, so I am just getting back on. Yes the radio can handle 700 mhz. I think I wiped out the preprogramed sites (including Phoenix). I will try to do some more reading and research. This is a very frustrating and challenging. Thanks again.
