Post Any Interest In PPD Feed?

Hello all. I've been a long time viewer, but first time posting.

I recently upgraded my primary scanner to a PRO-197 from a Uniden BC785D in order to once again follow PPD on their new P25 system. After years of following the forum posts, I was hesitant on the investment due to the fact that the system is a bear to monitor, however, it was killing me to go without listening to PPD.

The good news is that I live 1.2 miles from the Simulcast A Site 26 tower, in fact I can see the tower from my back yard. With the attenuator on and using the stock antenna I'm able to pull in 5 bars of signal strength on the cc and have slight syllable cut out on approx 1 out of every 60-70 transmissions. In fact I've been able to narrow down the slight cut outs to the voice channel of 859.48750 (poosibly due to data traffic on the freq?). Every other vc does not seem to drop at all, just the 859 vc.
As Phoenix_Scanner has mentioned several times, attenuation is the winner on this new P25 system. I'm sure if I tried a yagi it might improve the 859 vc, but as it stands now I'm receiving around 97%-99% clear decoding.

My question for you is, if I can throw together a dedicated win xp machine, would their be any interest in a dedicated PPD simulcast A feed through scanarizona.us?

I'm listening to a barricaded situation now on C5 at 3rd and Polk, so I'm sure their would be others here in the valley interested in hearing as well.

Also, besides the yagi antenna, does anyone have any suggestions on tweaks/settings that may further enhance the reception quality of our wonderful P25 system?

Thanks in advance for your feedback/help.

Agreed! That would be great.

I can't get more than 40%-50% of the transmissions to come in clear here, it would be nice to listen to a good PPD feed.

Ok, I need help. I live up north in the most northern part of the Cactus Park precinct and would love to listen to A, B & C9... I can SOMETIMES get a transmission but hardly ever. If I have my BCD996T on scan, sometimes I will pick up Maryvale Precinct but never a good transmission.

1. What frequencies should I use?
2. I have turned on the attenuator, but nothing better.
