Question IRLP Nodes in Pheonix?

My Son KF7DRZ will be going to truck driving school through Swift in Phoenix Arizona in the end of August for three weeks. We would like to keep in touch with our radios. Does anyone know of any IRLP Capable repeaters in Phoenix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Echolink is probably a safer bet.

Google says 145.555 Simplex PL 100.0, a link belonging to KB5B. Echolink.
Or, IRLP Node 3820, 447.575, PL 151.4 Hz. KC7GHT owner.

73 and good luck to your son!

Thanks for the info. We have an Echolink repeater within about a couple of miles of my house too. That may work out really well. 73 to you!

Here is a link for you with AZ Repeaters. It has been some time since updates and changes, but it is fairly accurate. It has several options, depending upon what radio he is taking with him to Phoenix.

I will. I have so much to learn still... I only got my Ham ticket on July 1st. I am technologically challenged. But my Son is very tech savy and is catching on much quicker and helping me allot.

Right now we both have Yaesu FT-60R HT's .A ,member of our radio club gave us all the study materials to study for our tech License and then gave us brand new radios right out of the box as an incentive to get us into the hobby after we passed our exams. There are some really wonderful people in this hobby and lifestyle. My only regret about getting into Ham Radio is that I didn't do it sooner in life...
