Default Lake Pleasant Frequencies and Talkgroups

Hi Everyone,

What are some frequencies and talkgroups used at Lake Pleasant? What are some of the conventional frequencies used at the lake? I see that there are several “parks” talkgroups on the Maricopa Co. system, but which ones are actually used at Lake Pleasant?

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe, Lakes 1 and 2 are used for the lake areas. The talkgroups are 43440 for lakes 1 and 43472, they also monitor Ch.16,68 and 8 in the marine band. You might also try 155.16 and 159.09

Park Deputies also use the Maricopa County Parks analog channel on 159.390 with a PL of 123.0. It's used on and off the water and is very busy on holiday weekends. This is where you will hear the bulk of the 'chatter' (good, bad, naked people, drunk people, snakes in the road, wild animals they see, etc) at Lake Pleasant.

Additional channels/talk groups on the county digital system that don't get used quite as often are Parks Main 680, Parks LE 43792, Parks B 496, Parks C 528
