According to the Southwest Frequency Directory, Surprise Fire is dispatched by Phoenix Fire on Ch 1 154.190. Units numbers will be 301 to 308. According to the directory, TAC channel will be Ch. 6 154.130 and they also have some talkgroups on the Maricopa County trunked system ( 52528, 52560, 52592, and 52848).

Hey Joe,
If you can independently verify this, would you submit these please? For that matter, notice that Surprise PD is not listed either....

Thanks,

Channel 6 is actually 154.310. 154/130 is Channel 14 (Chandler area). As far as the Maricopa County Trunked system, Surprise is migrating to the RWC (regional Wireless Cooperative) for most operations. Since Phoenix FD looks like they will be transitioning no hot zone calls to the RWC by the end of the year, I would expect to hear Surprise FD units there as well.

Thanks again for the updates. I'm glad there's only going to be one TRS system down here in Tucson. They certainly won't be going back and forth between different TRS's, since there will be only one

The Maricopa County list doesn't show Peoria, El Mirage, and Surprise as being with the RWC yet.

Just a quick observation. Database still shows Chandler PD using the MCSO system.
