Default Mesa Police Communications Emergency Mobile TRS

Anyone catch these guys testing their system?

Mesa Police were granted funding from the Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) to purchase and equip a mobile communications trunking sytem that is deployable statewide in Arizona.

The trailer is equiped with a 6-channel trunked radio site. Up to 5 Dispatcher positions are available.

This is an "open" system, i.e. no encryption allowed.

System area coverage is 5-10 miles, depending upon the tower height.

You can see the trailer here sans equipment

TRS frequencies are:
769.14375
769.64375
770.14375
770.64375
774.10625
774.60625

I posted information in another thread in the past about this system during a mutual aid exercise. I was under the impression it was a state temporary system as the freq are licensed to the state. Here is a link to my past post and some information about the system. I have only heard the system online twice in the last 4 months.

The FCC callsign is WQNW331.

Can you do me a favor and submit so that I can create the TRS in the DB please ?

Thanks,
