I bet those 5 people that overdosed and the 7 people that thought their life was not worth living didn't think it was "fairly good". I thing sometimes we may forget what we here on our scanners involve real life and humans beings. This is not some make believe TV.

I have to agree, life is something that is not taken for granted.
So no that doesn't make for a good day.

Like previous posters have said, It may be "good" to listen to, but in the end, would you want to be in the shoes of any of those people? Like a lot of people think when a medevac helicopter launches that its a "good thing" and get all excited, but really its happening because someone is litterally fighting for their life. Just a few weeks ago I heard a nearby dept being dispatched for a call for a tree down on someone when they were cutting trees. They had to use the helicopter. He is now paralized from the neck down. This is someone I actually know. It may be all interesting when you aren't involved, but from the other side of things, its a complete nightmare, and for some, the worst day of their life.
