Does anyone have a current list of the various Phoenix FD Cars that you typically hear dispatched on structure fires, Haz-Mat calls and special duty rescues (mtn/hi-angle/water/trench/etc)?
I know Car 957 North & South are Safety (Capt? BC?)

Car 959 is the FD/PD Liasion (Capt? BC?) correct?
I frequently hear others that I'm not familiar with, so if someone can post or point me towards a (non-pdf) list, it'd be appreciated.
If you have a current list for other departments, so much the better

I just heard Southwest Deputy dispatched to a call in Buckeye I believe it was. Does the Southwest Deputy replace Buckeye Valley BC 321 or Buckeye BC 701, or is s/he in addition to 321/701?

I have this info in my records. (not sure where I found it to send you a link)
Car 9 - Chaplain
Cars 504 to 510 - investigators
Car 957 North - Hazmat Safety Captain (assigned to station 45 - 2500 E Beardsley)
Car 957 South - Hazmat Safety Captain (assigned to station 8 - 1000 E Polk)
Car 959 - Safety Captain

Seems strange to me that the Hazmat Captains aren't housed with the Hazmat stations - 4, 38, & 41

I believe Car 957 N & S aren't limited to HazMat, they're overall Safety Officers at any fire, HazMat or Special Duty Rescue assignment.
And I have 959 as the FD/PD liasion officer.

I don't think the 500 series is used for Phoenix investigators anymore now that Pinal County fire agencies are now assigned the series.

I believe they are now FI1, FI2, etc...
PIO's are PI1, PI2...

Car 959 I thought was the TLO

I'm sure someone from AHQ or PFD can update this better for everyone.

Ah, that makes sense. It also explains the F1s and P1s I've been seeing on the dispatch web site.
What's TLO, Terrorism Liaison Officers?

I've seen Car 958 (I mis-typed 959 above, I apologize) as either FD/PD Liasion Officer or as the Terrorism Liasion Officer. It may be the FD/PD TLO for all I know
And the FI and PI cars were part of what I was wondering about as well.

A response on the ArizonaScanner Yahoo group stated the Cars 957N & S are Special Operations Captains, not Safety Officers. So 958 is the FD/PD and/or Terrorism Liasion Officer, and Car 959 is the Safety Officer then?
