Talking Now What

Call me stupid, BUT!
Will I be able to load both files, one for the (Topaz)TRWC using departments, and also the RWC using departments, along with MCSO's Motorola Smartnet II, all in as one file on the PRO197?

Then what do you do, start locking out the Fleet Call numbers you do not want??

Very Confusing.

1 file, each their own list, don't mix them among each other.

Talking Talk me through the first download and upload?

Is there anyone in Arizona who would take the time, to talk (via telephone) me through the first download of files from this system for AZ, how to place them in lists I can use and then upload to my pro 197.
I bought the RS programming cable with the Disc attached----ready to rock and roll.

I can help with Win500, because that's what I own.
Would be more than happy to help.
Send Me a pm with your #, and time to call, and we can see what can be done.

Do not know what software is supplied with the RS programming cable, but it is a trial offer.
Where can win500 be found, how much does it cost?

Maybe we can do it this weekend, I will PM a tel number, do you have free toll calls, I do not.
But I have a cell phone with unlimited minutes.

Win500 has a 30 day trial>> Win500: PSR-500, PSR-600, PRO-106, PRO-197, PSR-310, PSR-410 Scanner Software for Data Management, Monitoring, and Control
$35.00

Yea all calls for Me are the same, local or long distant they cost 1 price.
The one that came with the cable You get 2 downloads & can only use it for a week I think.

Talking Thanks Ronnie USA

I downloaded a 30 day copy of WIN500, then copied and pasted the freqs and info from this sites database.
I was able to tweak and tune to pretty much get what I needed. I must have made 50 changed to lock out encrypted fleet call numbers, turn on the led, do notify chirps, etc.

In bank 20, I have my conventional freqs. How do I add others manually???
And when uploading to the unit, how and where do I set the port to be used???

If I need to lockout a freq, because of encryption, or birdies, am I locking out that fleet number, or am I locking out the Freq and fleet call number?

thanks

Every time You upload to the scanner it wipes out whatever is in there.
You do know you can download from within Win500, You don't have to copy, and past.
Plus it skips those encrypted channels for You.

This link might help You>> WIN500 - UtahRadio
