Question 460.550

I've been hearing fire dispatches on 460.550, but not with the normal on-duty dispatchers voice. More like someone repeating the dispatch. I had this as a DPS freq so fire dispatches made no sense. After doing some digging it looks like this is a SW Ambulance freq. Does anyone have any info on their procedures? If they send out an ambulance do they repeat the whole fire dispatch? Seems a little silly to me, but that's what it looks like.

I just now monitored a dispatch to see if they recently changed their procedures, and it did not sound like it. They cleared the unit, the unit responded, dispatch gave the type of call, the address, the fire unit they were responding with, and a map page

Oh, they also gave the K-deck channel to use. And 460.550 is Southwest's channel 12, which covers dispatches and responses for the West Valley units.
