I'm confused you are picking these up with your scanner? Or your streaming them from online? If your getting these on your scanner how are you picking them up so far away?

That's cool that you're able to hear Sedona PD from the Phoenix area, but HOW? Are you using some kind of super antenna?

Okay, so yesterday I plugged the Sedona PD and some Camp Verde frequencies into my scanner and today I picked up some traffic on Sedona. I don't know about the area of the valley where you are, AirScan1, but in north Tempe, the Sedona frequencies are being used by Florence PD. When they gave an address I looked it up and it said Florence. Like I said, where you are it might be Sedona but where I am it's Florence. They must be using the same frequencies but because they're so far apart it doesn't cause any problems. I imagine the Yuma and Oro Valley traffic you are hearing are probably agencies much closer. Try listening for addresses then looking them up to see where they're located.
Regardless, it's great you are able to hear police traffic on your 310 that is still using analog.

with phx pd head for encryption the scanner feeds will die off and I wonder what we do when our peaceful hobby dies we will find ourselves in the park using metal dectors or flying rc aircrafts
the encrypted world is a sad pitful world to be in... GOD HELP US

With your spelling it's very hard to understand what you are talking about but if you are thinking you hear Sedona PD on158.76 then what you hear is Pinal County SO. For what you think is Oro Valley dispatch on 460.1 you may be hearing SW Ambulance, as for Yuma they are on a P25 trunking system which it sounds like your scanner is uncapable of such. How about listing the frequencies you are referencing?
Then maybe we can decipher what you are really listening to.

With encryptions and new systems the scanning is during very fast.
It's a very very sad thing that this happening.

Have you actually looked up the location on the internet to determine if it's Sedona you're hearing? Why would you hear a location of Prescott if the frequency is for Sedona? Prescott has their own police. I entered the frequency that is listed in the RR database as Sedona PD and determined it was Florence PD. I did that by looking up an address they mentioned on the air. With your 310 there's little likelihood of you being able to pick up Sedona from Phoenix.

Wow. That's some dramatics you got going on there. Saying God help us because some agencies are going to encrypted. Phoenix PD is only encrypting hot traffic, not regular stuff. I try giving you the benefit of the doubt most of the time, but when you start with this stuff, it's really hard to take you seriously. Part-time encryption is NOT the end of the world. Not every single monitorable agency out there is going to go encrypted. If you believe all this stuff, maybe you should go back to treasure hunting and flying RC aircraft.

I can get the Camp Verde Marshal's Office (158.790) from my home in Peoria, even with just a Diamond RH-77CA dual-band duckie. What frequencies are you listening to, Airscan? Not the agency you think it is, the frequencies.

158.760 is also Pinal County Sheriff's Office (East) Dispatch channel 1
158.895 is also Pinal County Sheriff's Office Info channel 2
Now, are you hearing Sedona Police, or Pinal County Sheriff? I'm willing to bet it's PCSO, as I also hear them.

Yes, I do listen to Goodyear PD on occassion, but not regularly.
856.9625 ch 1
855.9625 ch 3
866.0125 ch 5 (Interop)
855.4875 ch 7
857.9125 ch 11
855.4875 ch 15
You should also try Tolleson PD, 856.2625.

And the RR database is updated. If you look in Pinal County, under the Sheriff's Office, you'll see 158.760 and 158.895, along with their other channels. 158.790 is used by the Camp Verde Marshal and is also PCSO's ch 5. They use two different PL tones.
