The last few months I am hearing alpha numeric codes when our city Fire is dispatched for assists etc. Some thing like C-6 or Charlie 6. does anyone know or have a breakdown of these codes ? Sure would be handy to know where, who and why . I will continue to research this and will post when I find something. Thanks for any help with this.

In what context are they using these codes? It could be a radio channel, it could be for the type of call they're going on, or it could be for something else. Could you give an example of an entire dispatch, so others can see the context the "code" is used in?
