Anybody Heard From Jonesboro Lately?

Has anyone heard anything on AWIN from Jonesboro PD and Craighead County Sheriff's Office Lately? I can pick up the Burdette, Lake City, Pocahontas, and Hopewell Towers but The Primary and Secondary Control Channels For Jonesboro Tower Are Dead...Did they Change To A different one or is that tower down? I have entered a wildcard and all and all I'm getting is Arkansas State Police Troop C and statewide AWIN, I have always heard Jonesboro Police and Fire, Along With Craighead County Sheriff's Office and Jonesboro City Utilities Since I've Had My Digital Scanner until the ice storm, I've not heard them since. Anyone know what's going on? Did they go back to the old system? I have heard Craighead County SO talking on their old analog a lot lately but it's just been chatter, not really dispatch comms.. Can anyone confirm or say they have heard anything about jonesboro lately? Anyone? Because I have no idea where they went or what they're on.. Anyone know anything?

Are they still dead over your way? They're working just fine here. I hear Jonesboro more now than I did before the ice storm. I hear them mostly on the Lake City tower.

I used to pick up the Hopewell, Burdette, Lake City, and Jonesboro Control Towers. NOW I can only get Hopewell, Burdette, and Lake City, I can't get the Jonesboro Control Tower, Not Even with my DIRECTIONAL antenna that I can get Ravenden on! Apparently Jonesboro isn't like state and doesn't come over EVERY tower, They just come over Jonesboro tower only and apparently they've turned the power WAY down on it because I used to get it from here before and hear them just fine. We were in jonesboro last night, While There I picked up Lake City, and Jonesboro towers and could hear jonesboro just fine. Used to I could hear it all the way to the house but yesterday by the time I got to Brookland I started loosing them. I don't know what the deal is, I can hear them in jonesboro but I can't hear them from here...And that's from 60 Feet in the air! Weird....

I noticed late last night and just now that Jonesboro was coming in on the Hopewell tower on 859.262

Yep, 866.2375 OR Control Channel 7. I just caught that one too... They just started that because they weren't last week! I checked!

I wrote on here not too long ago that I wasn't hearing them very often. Now they come in very often. I really don't know what changed.

I was hearing them great before the ice storm, Then after the ice storm I stopped, What I think went on was when the ice storm hit they cut it down to just the jonesboro tower because of them all running on battery power to try to save battery energy and I think they just now got around to getting it back like it's supposed to be, I'm still not catching the Control Channel 5 (860.9875) out of Jonesboro, I don't guess they've boosted the power up enough yet, Hopefully that will come in time. I don't know but I wish they'd boost it enough I could hear Ravenden from here, lol

I'm not hearing anything now because it's quiet again, I don't think we're hearing it all, I think we're just hearing what's coming across the Lake City or Hopewell Tower, Most of it comes over Jonesboro which we don't hear....Because we were in Jonesboro last night and it was hardly ever quiet....Now it's totally quiet...

Yep, I'm sure you're right. I very seldom here the Jonesboro tower here in Kennett. The two I hear the best are Hopewell and Burdette. I just heard the Jonesboro City dispatch on Hopewell and the car's response came through the Burdette tower.

I wish I could hear the ASP Troop B, but I can't hear any of those towers.

I'm getting ASP Troop B Ravenden Tower Because I have a directional 800 MHZ yagi antenna pulling them in.. I have it on the patio now but when the weather breaks I'm gonna put it on my tower then it'll be broadcasting with the others online if you wanna listen that way when it's up..

I'm only hearing part of jonesboro traffic, mainly dispatch... Anything on Hopewell or Lake City Tower, I can hear burdette when I'm on my yagi along with pocahontas. that's it, Still not jonesboro...

I was in jonesboro last night and they were clear as a bell...And talked constantly.. Today I'm hearing now and then, So I'd bet we're not hearing everything..

Makes me mad too cause I like to listen to Jonesboro Fire/Rescue...I used to hear them all the time until the ice storm...Now I don't.. Makes me mad sometimes, I hope they go back and boost the power back up so I can get them, lol

I'm not going to get any fancy antennas since I'm not able to work on them anymore. My wife is a Ham on a Tech ticket. She's going to put up some kind of antenna and then mount my scanner antenna under it sometime later this year. I wish you good luck with your antenna.

I am hearing both sides of a missing child report on Jonesboro PD.

I don't blame you...I don't work on mine either, I hate heights, I have a friend that does mine, lol This one is going to be my last one for awhile then I'm done with them..Thanks for the luck! Good luck to you as well!!
