KAIT StormTRACKER TGID FOUND!!!!

I have found The Talkgroup ID for KAIT's StormTRACKER, I heard them today using it! Justin to Ryan. It's on the PARAGOULD COMMUNICATIONS PARAGOULD (Found In Greene County, Paragould Comm Trunk System) SYSTEM, AND the TGID IS 0-11-037 This is confirmed and has been submitted to the DB! Just passing it along....This is The TGID for KAIT StormTRACKER to Weather Center Operations During Weather and Non Weather Events, Again, It's on the Paragould Communications 400 MHZ LTR Trunking System IN Greene County. This is shared by farmers, Businesses, and Paragould School District, So there's no telling what you might hear..But just to Hear StormTRACKER operations you need the LTR frequencies and only 0-11-037 Entered. I confirmed it today! After Searching For MONTHS!

Thanks Brian. This will help us out over here in the Bootheel as well. I wonder what they would use when they go South and West of our area.

I loaded the new Paragould TG listing that you or someone else turned in. They were just on it and it was scrambled.

The one scrambled I think is Paragould PD but I'm not 100% sold on that yet. That would have been 0-01-091. The StormTRACKER is 0-11-037. Greene County SO is 0-01-079. Listen very long and you will hear them as much as they use it. I had 108 hits in two hours on it night before last and only 19 on the main VHF channel. Your best bet to just hear the stormTRACKER is put in that TG only because we have farmers, paragould PD, GCSO, businesses, Storm Tracker, Tech School District and paragould School district both on it as well so it's rather a busy system if you don't specify a talk group. But the one scrambled is NOT K8, OR SO, Or Schools, I'm about 90% SURE it's PPD. That's the type scramble they use too.. That's not it.. It's the ones listed in the DB I submitted that you need to enter, They won't put the 091 in because I'm not sure who it is yet.. But that's none of what you need to hear. The one you need is 037 and 079 last three which is stormtracker and so. If you want the specific group let me know and I'll look it up and let ya know! As far as out of area, Paragould System their on should cover from About Wynne, To Poplar Bluff, From About Kennett To About Ash Flat or so.. Thats about it. JUST this area, After that, Back to cellular phones, lol

I knew the sheriff's office was on there but the radio that I normally listen on is my handheld becuase of the specific TG Entry methods. The one in the LR I use doesn't have specifics, so i have to listen to everything therefore not listening to them much, But I noticed the other day they use their secondary more than their VHF usually at night. Good luck hearing the StormTRACKER on there...Let me know if you hear'em, I'm gonna submit more as I get them...I don't know why but sometimes when I enter The SO TGID into the radio it won't stop on it when they talk, So I've been listening to everything, I finally got it to recongnze the specific one, I dunno what the deal was.. Brian, I heard the Storm Tracker talking to the station late this afternoon. They were on the way to some school to go on live on the 5 & 6:00 news shows. Anyhow, I heard them tell the station that they were switching over to the Jonesboro tower. I didn't realize it till today but Paragould Comm also has a Jonesboro tower. I think it would be too far for me to listen to here in Kennett.

Yes, I knew they had a jonesboro tower, I DID NOT know that they had an ID on the jonesboro tower too though, I doubt it's the same one as the paragould tgid, I have that system entered but have to be on my base antenna to hear it, I can't hear it on my portable, If I hear them say they're switching to the jonesboro tower I"ll listen, If I get that one I'll pass it along too, I wasn't aware till now they had a jonesboro ID.. That's News To me!

Why would the TGID be different?

Is the Jonesboro tower not the same TRS as the Paragould tower?


I searched the FCC DB for ARNOLD, NICKI G and found 6 callsigns......

1 in Jonesboro, 1 in Blytheville, and 4 in Paragould

It's confusing but for some reason No, The Frequencies, and ID's Are ALL different, Different Home Repeaters, Two Different systems completely. I've asked them about it when they programmed the one in the truck.
But they won't give me the ID's for anything, I'll monitor both systems but the way I understand the ID's are different on the different repeaters. I'll try to confirm though if I get a chance.

I'm like Brian on this one. It seems like each tower would have their own TG info & etc. Wouldn't the towers ("Co-channel") with the closeness of these two Paragould Comm towers if they didn't?
