Default Fort Smith - Radio repair

This hasn't been my year...both of my scanners have bit the dust. I have a SC150b with a broken DC jack and today we had lightning and a power outage and now my BC9000XLT is completely dead. It was on a surge protector. I opened it up didn't see or smell anything burnt. Does anyone know of someone who can check/repair a scanner around the Fort Smith/Poteau area.

You will probably be better off finding a factory repair center.

They know where to look and what to check.

You'd probably come out cheaper just buying a new pair of scanners once you account for shipping, parts & labor.

Yep...probably cheaper to upgrade in the long run. Last time I shipped one off to a repair center it took over three months and cost more than the scanner was worth.

Catch the Pro 164 or Pro 163 on sale at Radio Shack if ya don't need P25 digital. They'll do everything your old ones did and prolly more. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
