Default Hot Springs area

Now that I am living in Pearcy outside Hot Springs, I am able to pick up five or six ENTERGY sites, and am logging and in the process of IDing a few NEW tg's... Am also able to monitor at least three or four AWIN sites, so am logging any new ID's there also.. Have already found tones and a few unided freqs for Garland, and surrounding areas... Got lucky on the catching of Garland SO CH 4... still trying to ID CH 3... Stay safe and stay cool out there guys.

.Don't know yet, still trying to find one of the remainning ones active.. possibly the SO SAR chan??? Its on a towed tower repeater. Or maybe one of the other couple of unid'ed freqs... or maybe a statewide high band freq.... A lot been active here lately.... Monitored at least two stand offs this week... maybe I'll catch it soon. As for AWIN am able to pick up Malvern, Mountian Pine, Magnet, Gurdon on good days and two other sites...

I am running a Radio Shack PRO-96 with a RS 800 MHz rubber duckie,.. and am amazed at the reception here in Pearcy. I have every published FC freq for GCSO and only getting hits on CH 1 CH 2 CH 4 so far.... Have ID'ed two Entergy sites NOT listed and added one, am confirming the other now and will add it to the DB soon. Have ID'ed at least four more Entergy TG's and am confirming them. Am picking up a mag mount ant asap to throw up on my listening post roof which per past experience will improve my reception nearly double what it is now. Have submitted a lot of tone info for the surrounding counties as well,.. and am also ID'ing at least four more TG's for the C & W 800 MHz system,... And am working on an 800 MHz LTR somewhere near here with a Friend's PRO-97.
