Default Dept of Transportation Query

OK as I have seen no listing for talkgroups on the AWIN, and heard nary a peep of any new activity during the flash flooding when I know they were called out.... Does Highway Dept/DOT still use VHF Hi statewide? Other than AHP... If the answer is yes, I will load in the four local freqs for em and see what I hear.

AHTD in District 1 still uses VHF for operations. I heard them during the flooding is St. Francis county a few weeks back. They were very active during the ice storms & snowy weather.

I hear them just about every weekday morning getting things lined out for the days work, calling each HQ to get parts & supplies.

Figured as much. Monitored today.. Gotahiton 151.055 with 114.8 PL I think off the Jessieville repeater. Sounded far off and scratchy though so Might have been another district. Will keep the four freqs fro the local repeater in my pattern and see what pops.
