It's probably a money issue and if I had to guess, NOT ANYTIME SOON!
They have Jail issues and other budget issues to deal with now, just like the state does.
Everyone's budget is getting cut!

Will someone please explain to me what happened to the BILLION dollar surplus the state had just a year ago???

We now have a state-run lottery!

And that takes bureaucrats to run.

Those require offices, staff, transportation and have expenses. They have to pay someone's brother-in-law to print the game cards & there is no telling who gets a little somethin-somethin to promote the thing.

Yup, people in Arkansas are gonna hit the big money now that we are offering a lottery.

The lottery so far is a great warrant tracker. Every time some one wins, they usually have outstanding warrants out on them and we pick them up when they claim their winnings, which works great for the state since they can pay court cost and their fines now...lmao
