Tobacco Control AWIN TGID Valid?
Is the Tobacco Control AWIN Frequency vaild for the tobacco control agency?
I ask this because I have been hearing Tobacco Control TGID # 5601 all day I have been hearing across this frequency DL checks and LPN and warrant checks AND they're in Greene County Here..The locations they've give have been in Greene County, But it's been traffic stops, DL Checks, LPN Checks, warrant Checks.. Would that be normal for the tobacco control frequency?

Dunno about checking 28's & 29's but I listened to them one afternoon following an individual that was either delivering or picking up items from convenience stores in St. Francis & Lee counties. Aint heard a peep on that TGID since. Pretty damned interesting tho.

ATCB's TG is valid. And as a LEA they can and do do 28, 29, 31's on subject/suspects in investigations, and the rare checkpoints in conjunction with ABC, and ASP with local agencies. Also AWIN MEDNet confirmed as of yesterday! They did a Radio Check for most of the bigger hospitals. Over the next few months they will be getting at least an HT to EVERY hospital in the state, then mobiles installed as bases. Then every EMS/Ambulance and Medevac helo in the state will get an AWIN radio.

Right now - 17:35 11/3 - Ops in West Memphis I-40 west bound
Several units following vehicle with boxes in back seat..... possible stop to check invoices.
Maybe contraband transported in from TN ??
Dunno where this started.......will update. Damned interesting
18:03 Exited @ Lehi - I-40 & AR Hwy 147. Tail may have been "made" by suspect. Under observation.
Possible other units in area tailing other suspects.

so eventually all the hospitals will be 100% awin, Will that include all of the ambulance to hospital comms or will the stay as is, Also What's that TGID, I didn't hear any Statewide traffic yesterday except ATCB in this area and Prisons today, Nothing Else besides state and highway police, What's the TGID for the MEDNet Frequency, I'll see what I can hear, I don't hear anything on AGFC or AFC either, Only thing I hear statewide at all are the prisons and highway police..Is that normal, I wonder if the towers in this area (Hopewell, Lake City) don't catch the traffic.
I am 15 miles from the Jonesboro AWIN tower and I can't hear ANY Jonesboro City traffic OR get the control channel, Is it low power or something?
I never heard that either bubbaearle.. I will be in west memphis sunday, Will listen then.

As of now the plan and this is official- MED NET.. In the beginning - One Common TG for ALL hospitals to interop on. One statewide EMS Common in conjunction to ASP District EMS Commons. Each medical helo agency is to have its own TG. Each hospital statewide is to have an ER TG eventually. This will be used in conjunction with the VHF/UHF ER systems already in usage. All State Health Departments already have the AR HEALTH TG and use it regularly. All Emergency Management, Health, EMS/Hospitals will eventually also have training in proper interop procedures on the AWIN to maximize cooperation with all agencies. things are slowly coming together. The Med Net is to also provide for Memphis Hospitals to be able to assist in disasters etc... Eventually when the MWIN, LWIN, and the entire TNWIN are completed, as well as any future growth of the TX area systems, there are plans for mutual aid Law Enforcement, EMA, and Medical tg's to be shared by all in the event of an New Madrid, or major hurricane event.
