Have you checked out the county page for Texarkana in the RRDB?

There is not alot that is "confirmed". However you go down to the bottom of the page and click on the unid freqs link, you will find a list of EMS and FF freqs. Key those into your scanner and see what you get.

Might also check out Miller county on the AR side of the house as nobody has submitted information yet.

i dont know how this can be, but im in northeast louisiana and ive been hearing skip from texarkana for years. i hear the names wake village, nash, redwater and liberty eylou. also, lifemed or lifenet or something like that. its all on 151.0700, which i dont understand because thast not any of the agencies' freqs that im hearing. next time i hear it, im gonna record a sample and send it to one of you that lives there so u can comfirm.

Hi, all of the skip you are hearing is from the various Volunteer fire departments that use the same repeater in the Texarkana area. The Bowie County Firefighters association is on 154.415. Wake Village, Liberty Eylou, Pleasant Grove, Nash, Hooks, C5, Redwater, Maud all share the same repeater. As I am new at this however, Im not sure how it skips, but the frequency you listed is not one used by any of our VFD's.
