Yeah it might have been a wasted trip to look, depending on where the sky is at your place. He was well south of the line, pretty much directly over downtown here. Musta made a left after topping up. I never did see the KC-135. Caught him going NE though a couple hours before, wonder if he orbited for a while waiting for the C-17.

looknlisten;]The audio from this morning's refuel on AR20SW of SHUCK82 (E-3B 79-0003 from Tinker AFB) and ETHYL52 (KC-135R 58-0084)


Nice audio.. Noticed at end Westover metro call.
Aircraft around here very rarely use UHF metros anymore as most have Sat Coms
etc for wx reports anymore.Used to be real busy just monitoring metros 5-10 years ago but
that is first one have heard in months.. I think Dover closed their radio metro and
use to hear McGuire on 239.800 but been a while...Nice catch.

RAMA 31 completed AR with QUID 98 and received oceanic to Dyess from Shanwick on 6622. Heading your way guys for AR20[SW] I would think.

He did...Also doing a visual inspection regarding something loose near the co-pilot window.

Just got RAMA-31 checking in with Boston Center on 370.9 and 290.350. I guess the bones in my neck of the woods now. Time 1952z
