Just spotted a C-130 headed SW toward you Look.. I got an email about 96-0042 a couple mins before but that's an E-8.. If he stays on track (just a few miles south of AR-20) you might see him.

And from early this morning. RCH1815 getting gas from ETHYL15 on his way to Suffolk, UK. Audioboo / RCH1815 with ETHYL15 Oct 19 2:32Z on AR20

So I'm blaming Hurricane Sandy for burning out my power supply in my computer. Got the new one up and running but having some issues setting up the audio recorder. In the meantime, I managed to get some audio from AR20 this morning 05:00Z. First one for awhile... Ethyl19 (tc-62-3576, Pease) and REACH707 from 60th AMW, Travis AFB... Audioboo / RCH707 & ETHYL19 Nov 1st - 2012, 05:00Z

Overcast, so I wasn't able to get a picture this time. Did get some of the audio: http://audioboo.fm/boos/1038272

Recent Military Activities in the Maritimes
Alright, I've been wondering if anyone else has been noticing some Military exercise activity in the Maritimes this past couple weeks. I've heard the CHEETHA / BRUISERS in the area, lots of (sounds-like) 'Trials'(Auroras?) flights and it culminated with CANFORCE4105/VIMY11 flight declaring MARSA today near Fredericton (at 9000 feet) Later TRON30 is talking with Moncton center asking the Aurora heading to Greenwood to come up on A-A on 294.500. I've searched for miltary exercises scheduled for the Maritimes but have come up with nothing. Any one else hear any of this?

I can't say I've heard/seen anything news related to any exercises, but I did hear Trials calling Greenwood, and talking to Moncton a few times over the last week or 2. Plus there was that CF-18 at CYHZ for a day last week, or maybe a week and a few days ago.
Also I've noticed the aircraft from Top Aces Consulting (Alpha Jets) have been popping up on my Radar Box almost everyday. Maybe that's related to whatever is going on.

That would be the CHEETAH / BRUISER callsigns...I was just curious if there was some major Exercise going on. (I have never heard a CANFORCE plane accept MARSA before.) Also, there has been a lot of activity on the NB side with the Griffons calling into Moncton Centre. And then I check my work email today...a co-worker is asking what those jets were that were refueling Thursday morning...no idea...missed that one.
Curiouser and curiouser...
Thanks for the response....just didn't want to feel I (we) were missing out on things.

Hey guys, did anyone catch any refueling yesterday? I saw there was a mid afternoon run scheduled, but I was tied up indoors, and away from the scanners.

Bummer, seems like a real dry spell going on. I heard a refuel last week, but all I heard was the very end, 1 disconnect, and then the usual end of AR chatter. I think it was just a REACH flight.
Check your PMs Darryl, just sent you one.

Got it! Yeah I noticed its a little slow too. Stuff seems to be going over but they don't need gas. Man I wish we could have seen or got an ID on those jets from a couple weeks ago. My bro has a good plane eye too but couldn't get a clear look at the fighters.

Yea that would be cool, I wish fighters would show up on the Radarbox, I see KC's all the time, but they are all alone according to what I pick up. I bet some of those are leading fighters across the pond.
