Another FYI guys, there's a refuel on the schedule for 13:30 local today, just thought I'd let you all know, since weekend refuels seem to be rare lately.

I've probably picked up 4 military flights today when it's cloudy.. Unreal luck...
Spent the last couple hours totally revamping my scanlists, here's my Mil Air stuff. I might be able to trim a few things, maybe the old AR-20 area frequencies, I don't know. I'd like to only have what I need in the interest of scan speed so if there's anything I can cut (or add if it's useful) please let me know, thanks! Sorry in advance for the formatting, was hoping for some sort of column structure, put a bunch of periods in in case it helps sorta structure things..

Freq Labels

303.800 I have it recorded as a freq used by the Snowbirds (PA Link). My logs show it was active, briefly,on Nov 24th.
The other, 281.800 was an A-A 'PUSH' freq used by the SILVER flight (CF-18s) during the recent Norad exercise. May want to keep that one in.

Roger that Darryl! I just heard the same, ETHYL LIMA 3 talking to what sounded like ARGON73, or ARGO73, 10 minutes late.

Sweeeets.... Any idea of the delay on your feed vs real life? I think we figured it out to be almost instant once..
Oh I was thinking, might it be goood idea to start a thread that consists of a pool of our frequencies and labels? I think that'd be good cause it would be just NS region stuff that we could, again at the interest of scanning speed, program in as a minimum wthout risking missing stuff?

The feed should be instant, or almost anyways, within 5-10 secs from what Ive noticed.
As for the thread for freqs, I think that's a great idea man, or maybe even a wiki page depending on how ambitious your feeling, cause then you could have a table instead of a massive list in a post, at least I think you can do that in the wiki..
edit: I'm getting coms now on that refuel, still a ways out by the sound of it.

Thanks for the info look! I was wondering what they were with a name like ARGON, but didn't get a chance to look them up.

Thanks for the head's up. I wasn't near the shack and missed the SHUCK.
I did get the comms though. And as you noticed...short and sweet!
The audio from the refueling is here: Audioboo / SHUCK80 and ETHYL52 random AR Dec14th-2012

Hey guys, so I came up with a Google Doc to share all of the frequencies that are in use in our area, after Darryl threw the idea out in the thread previously, along with some of his list.. I'll post the link to the web copy which can not be edited, but if anyone wants to help out, and add more info, send me your email, and ill add you to the list of people who can edit it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...Xc&output=html
As you will see, there is a fair bit of freq's that don't get used around here, but I tried to keep them in seperate tabs. I hope some folks find this useful.
Thanks for the audio Look, you caught a lot more than I did. I heard 3, maybe 4 transmissions, and one was to Moncton lol.
And now I'm picking up comm's on NORAD Huntress (234.7) and then switched to 363.8, a REACH flight calling someone else, didn't catch the second name. 17:08 Local.

Hey guys, I caught a REACH flight refueling last night, and heard more than 10 seconds of chatter, so I figured I post it lol.

Ha! That's funny.. Oh, at the beginning of the recording were they trying to make contact on 234.700? I don't have that one in my 'Always on' list with AR-20 and the Maine frequencies, thinking maybe I should add it if it's common. Thanks.
