Yup, I would say its different, since the Mode S code is different. I added "TACTICAL" into the alerts for Registrations, and it looks like its paying off, since I just got another one, GAF969 - 3F469C. The previous was GAF962. That or the Germans are having some fun

Totally, I wish it was nice out, I would have run over for a picture or two. Ive never seen one up close before. Maybe it will be decent in the AM for a pic, assuming he is still over there.

Busy day for AR-20 Jan 4th
Well, the dozen Red Flag (52 FW) F-16s were scrubbed for today but hopefully we will see (hear) them tomorrow.
Seven reservations ( all NE bound) for refuelings tomorrow (one late tonight) ...if we get get half of them I'd be happy. Four of them scheduled for early morning. (Murphy's Law...1st day back to work on Friday...arghhhh). Happy scanning!

That stinks, but hopefully they will come during daylight tomorrow. I've never seen F-16s refueling, or any USAF fighters for that matter except for video's on youtube, closest I came was some RAF fighters, possibly Tornado's.
