Default Background noice.

Hello, I am having a lot of background noice when frequency traffic is empty. Once communication is detected sound is loud and clear. I have adjusted squelch, but no success. I am currently using a 3.5mm aux cable to the raspberry pi 3.
Also when I unplugged the audio jack and listen to frequency, there is no background noice when empty. Seems to only happened when audio cable is being used.

Scanner uniden bc75xlt
Raspberry PI 3
USB audio dongle (tried 2 type of USB dongle)
3.5mm cables. (Tried 2 different cables?

Something like this has helped cut the noise out of the feeds I have set up!
