What do you mean there is no audio? Did you program the radio right? Are you saying you don't hear a courtesy tone?

Reset your radio and try reprogramming it with these instructions,

Your question is a little vague. When you ping the repeater, is your radio lighting up indicating that it's receiving the courtesy tone but there's no audio? Does your radio just not receive anything?

Okay, so when you transmit with your Baofeng, other people only hear static? Are you able to hear other people?

As tedious as it may sound, reset the radio and try it from there. Most Baofeng issues are solved with resetting the radio from my own experiences.

You can save all of your settings first though. Once you factory reset your radio, you can put all of your memories back onto it if you want.

So your transmission has no modulation - is that what you are saying? Are you sure you're pinging the repeater if you hear nothing? Can you listen to the repeater output frequency on another receiver?
