Ambulance being called to a heat related firefighter injury, near point of origin. I'm hearing the new BLUE UHF simplex tacticals being used alot lately also.

The Bell Cobra 509 spotted it while working the Sloan Fire, it's further up near Templin Hwy, busy day for these guys.

Been busy in Phoenix too, we just had a 3 alarm commercial fire about 3 hours ago. Gotta love that summer heat....

Interesting, I am finding freqs designated as NARROW FM being used in normal FM mode, even 6 kHz splinters. I am having to reprogram the scanner mode back to FM on some of these freqs.
