Shots fire SSD Officer in Sac

Ops on ssd 61552. foiled 211. Madison and Hillsdale. suspect fired multiple rounds at SSD officer. fire code 3, outside agencies and Copter 1 assisting. setting

CHP has two in costody believed to be the suspects

may have a third outstanding. lots of air on 132.12

unknown condition of ssd unit, heard him say that he'd been hit once and multiple rounds had been fired at him.

Heard it go down. i thought there was a report of masked subjects running behind a business. then the unit called Officer Down. i thinks that is related, may be 4 subjects

gotta go, but will lieave a scanner on ssd main for those who are following

indeed they are looking for two outstanding BMA's with cornrows.

Belived suspects related to a bank 211 in Rocklin. id'd suspect vehicle near residence. Shooter is still outstanding. Sounds like they have them hold up on a house on Chapel/Dolly Way. .

from piecing together listening to lincoln pd..sac chp gold.. sac so..
they took what i believe was a lincoln pd officer to mercy san juan..

and then later on sac so i heard them asking to call out a homicide detective..

i have a bad feeling the officer was killed

i hope i am wrong

I also heard them ask for a homicide detective. SPD and Elk Grove sent K9's and other officers. I thought the officer shot was from Rocklin, but I may be wrong. Original crime scene sounded like it was on Rocklin Rd.

Metro Fire's Huey provided air support until CHP's H20 and fixed wing got overhead. Officer was taken to Mercy San Juan.

well some good news i guess... the homicide detective was an unrelated call

officer in hospital was giving updates abt suspect info from hospital...

when i heard the call i also thought it was lincoln pd officer and the sssd officer was saying HE (lincoln pd ) was hit... but alas was ssd ..

211 was wells fargo in rocklin and lincoln pd pursuit led this to that spot

areas being evaced for house to house search for the shooter

dolly ct gandy and frizzell

fbi and atf also coming to the cp

Air-1 coming on scene at 500' and H-20 heading to MCC for fuel. Star unit also inbound from Mather. Star flying at 500', Air-1 to 600' and Air-21 to 1200'.

Not sure what audio that is, since this computer doesn't have working speakers.

My feed caught the officer calling in that he'd been hit at least once, possibly multiple times.

SSD Homicide Detectives are sent out to all officer involved shootings.
I'm sure most of you know after reading news articles etc - It was a Rocklin PD officer that assisted the deputy that was shot.

At time stamp 2:05mins 11A calls out a wave down. At 13:54 mins, was a female down call by 13C - Both of these occurred before the shooting. The audio clip ends at 14:47mins

Maybe I linked the wrong clip. You can hear Lewis say that he's hit at least once, maybe multiple times, then the "officer down" is broadcast, with dispatch asking where the officer is down.

Don't know what I linked before, but I just listened to this again, and this IS the right audio. The "1612" in the filename is an east coast time stamp, and each file is 15 minutes long. The 1556 in the previous link goes too far back. I listened to one file and linked a different one.:

9:48 is wavedown of subjects w/ masks, no weapons seen
11:40 is report of officer running into Trinity parking lot, and 11A calling hit multiple times
12:01 is officer down report

Here's my recording of the event. it starts at 1321 hours with the Officer radioing in that he'd been hailed by citizens regarding masked subjects. Seconds later it events heat up as you heat the "I've been Hit" traffic. you also hear outsite agencies and air ops on the recording. Chilling, Riveting audio. Most of the incendent is included, only the last "evidence" gatering and clearing is missing.
