Air Tac 23 (151.30250 mhz) was used heavily in the 2008 fires in the Santa Cruz mountains. It is between Air Tac 5 and 6 and can be heard on those adjacent channels from overload. They all sound about the same with the front end of the receiver opened to the maximum sensitivity. Try using the attenuator to see which of the three channels you are actually hearing...
