I hope so.
I just went on and grabbed hours of recordings from the archives for both channels from like 11am-current.
radio reference posted recordings from the movie theater shooting, CT and whatever else, so hopefully there is one on here later.

Dispatch announced a little bit ago that the system was in failsoft. Hope comm's aren't impeded too much up there.

It would appear they went to another talkgroup or frequency not on the feed that's been provided. Or maybe what they're using is encrypted?

One of two things are happening. The feed provider removed the channels or, they have ceased radio traffic. Fox news has mentioned they have ceased most radio traffic, so I'd say that's the more likely of the two scenarios.

I was listening right before the feed climbed up to over 30,000 listeners - but when it was starting to lag and make it difficult to follow - and I heard someone relaying orders to tell *somebody* (news media, maybe?) that they could broadcast but not re-transmit. Anyone else hear this? Seems like it might be relevant. I couldn't get any feed here or on broadcastify to work for over fifteen minutes. Finally it came back on my Android phone, then came back on this site - but now it is awfully darn quiet...

Situation very fluid, active shooter with possible hostages. Although I was critical of the provider pulling the plug a few days ago, I totally agree with his call now.

Over 30,000 listeners at peak! Looks like RR has a new record.

Is there a reason the volume is nearly inaudible on the San Bernardino County System 6, 7, 8 - East Valley and SB Mtn Police, Fire, EMS stream? Taking the feed down is complete BS. Do you guys seriously think it's going to hamper their ability to apprehend this guy? Why bother having these feeds if there's nothing but podunk traffic stops all of the time? Seriously l@me material! I guess everyone wants to be a hero.

System 8 seems ok to me - still hearing traffic but I am in a bad area and can only hear it very poorly. Doesn't seem to be in failsoft, though. They moved unrelated traffic to a tac channel and are keeping the main channel for the incident, as far as I can tell. Again, the signal quality for me is really bad so I get only bits and pieces.

I heard that. I think the feed provider disabled those channels. I wish they wouldn't do that. I understand the reasoning, but what do they provide feeds for in the first place? This situation is ideal.
Not to mention, this guy has class 3 auto weapons. I heard "Automatic fire inbound!" on the feed. Do you really think the guy didn't buy a police scanner, if he can afford class 3?

Because it is against the terms of service on this site.

And yes, I know there doesn't HAVE to be any other reason besides you want it this way.
