Beck said he had been in communication with authorities at the cabin where Dorner was believed to have been hiding and confirmed that officers heard a single shot fired as they used heavy machinery to tear down the cabin's walls.

Who gives a crap about the house? You think there's no remedy for its destruction? No fence or house has ever been damaged by law enforcement chasing suspects? Its a common occurrence and all governments are used to dealing with it. Don't bother trying to make the home owner out as some victim - she will be fine.

Angry Rant alert.

You have to read this sick sh&t DORNER MANHUNT: Officials worry over support for fugitive ex-LAPD officer | Local News | PE.com - Press-Enterprise Question are we going to see riots?
And maybe copycats? I am reading comments like "Dormer lives, We must finish what he started" When did America become this? Murders like Dormer, and Jodi Arias are the victim, And the murdered are the bad guys? To all American LEO's and LEA's stay safe.

PDs have to be more accountable to their citizens. Coverups cannot be permitted. Discipline hearings must be conducted by impartial bodies.

And if a PD does damage, they must be required to compensate the property owner when that property owner has no involvement in the events.

Remember, PDs work for the taxpayers. They are not an occupying force that answers to no one.

A few simple rules of accountability and financial responsibility will go a long ways.

There are an awful lot of people out there wearing badges that shouldn't be.

Does anyone have audio of the start of the incident yesterday from the car jacking on?

Considering this guys was former LAPD does anyone know if he still had his police radio? Even if he had to turn one in when fired how easy would it be for him to have stashed one away? All this talk about him listening to RR feeds I think he most likely had a direct line to the source and no relying on some unknown (to him) 3rd party.

Are you just being intentionally obstinate? You are asserting a point that is nothing but a soapbox. Agencies routinely deal with this, and the homeowner will be compensated by the agencies that damaged her property.

You also have yet to mention the suspects role in damage to the property. Why is that? Not much of a soapbox there, huh. Again, quit trying to make the homeowner out to be a victim of a government run amok or whatever.

Your "a lot of people with a badge that shouldn't be" comment is disgraceful. Officers laid down their lives to stop this guy - including one basically in the front yard of this property.

This isn't the Tavern or whatever its called on RR.

Well, he's been out for several years ('08 ?), so probably not.

What's disgraceful is that so many officers have gone bad.

Twenty or more Memphis officers arrested last year
Ten arrested yesterday in Metro Atlanta for protecting drug transactions.
Miami and Chicago both dealing with multiple Federal indictments.
Oakland, Seattle and other cities under Federal oversight.
Cases in Texas and Arkansas of officers protecting drug shipments.

Gotten into copblock the last month - its down right scary how many out there are bad!

It doesn't excuse what dorner did, but if he was actually railroaded like he claims to have been it shouldn't be a major surprise - its usually only a matter of time before someone goes "falling down" ( Michael Douglas movie) ...

Folks, this manhunt is apparently over and to be frank you will not listen nor follow the rules.
  • Could this thread have stayed open? You bet!
  • Could you have stayed on topic? Absolutely.
  • Why is it closed? Because you (that would the collective "you") would not remain on the topic but rather went into "rants", worried about completely irrelevant things, and generally decided that bickering among yourselves was the thing to do.

Default Additional Information

One of the participants of this thread asked if the conversation could be continued in a less restrictive venue and as such as started a continuation in the Tavern.

You may find that conversation here: Continuing from the Dorner thread.....
