First, program ALL the frequencies of the system.

Second, it is a Type 2 900 Mhz system....if the software doesnt have that, enter it into the scanner manually...

Third, create a Conventional System with the following and give it the same Quick Key on your scanner, so they both scan at the same time:

0173.3125 Sunland
0471.3125 Sylmar
0047.8600 Power
0048.3600 Power
0048.4200 Power Red
0047.9600 Water
0048.1800 Water
0173.2875 Unk
0037.8400 Sunland
0173.2500 Sun Valley
0173.3500 Sun Valley
0456.1250 Van Nuys

There are only four. You're interested in just the freqs with a "c" after them. For other systems you may see "a" which means it's an alternate control channel and would be included too.

You want to make sure these are programmed:
935.46250c 935.47500c 935.48750c 935.50000c

Yes. There is only one control channel frequency actively transmitting at a time, but since they have to run that transmitter continuously for hours or days they often rotate the frequency (and transmitter). By programming those four frequencies, you are ensuring that no matter which frequency they rotate the control channel to, you will always be able to trunk-track the system.

Make sense?
