California International Airshow at Salinas 8/7-9

The 2009 edition of the California International Airshow officially starts on Friday, August 7th, with a night time show. The show continues into the weekend.

You might want to start monitoring on Wednesday or Thursday to catch any early arrivals or paractice sessions. There will certainly be a practice show on Friday, before the official evening show.

The Blue Angels should be Flying into Salinas again between 2 and 2:30 so keep your eyes to the sky for a special treat we are told.

Those planes should be buzzing your house just south of Salinas and signals should be strong. It will be your job to log in with the new frequencies if any pop up this year...
