Default Pro 164 ?

I've heard that the PRO 164 sucks. Wondering if i should by it

I have the GRE equivalent, PSR-300 and love it. I've used it in the L.A. area with no problems (sheriff, fire, CHP). It is not digital, so it only receives analog but that's quite a bit.

The Pro 164 looks just like the Pro 97. The only difference that I can see is that it's been rebanded on 800 mhz. and receives the new TRS networks untilizing frequencies below 855 mhz...

it does suck i had one piece of "s" -now funny,though got rid of it bought its twin the 163 and like it.. but my opinnion buy a uniden 346xt.
