Default Vandenberg AFB Trunk

What happened to the VBAFB trunk freqs? They must have moved along with the Lompoc prison. Anyone know where?

They are on the 380 band P25 Trunked System.

last time i was near there i wasnt getting any action on the 380 system
i suspect i had the step or something off -

those systems are weird to program

Make sure you program it as a P25 system not a Motorola Type II.


Just checked and I see stuff going on the 380 system.
Logged two talkgroups(45014 VAFB MP Disp, 45209 (Unknown). When I was logging for few minutes tonight on site 162. The site neighbors is reporting the same control channels for the other sites as what is in the database.

I read the thread you linked to. The 406-420 MHz that they used to use are dead and have been for at least a couple years. I did search the 380 freq range a while back and heard nothing. I will try again. TNX!

You need one of the newer digital scanners.
Uniden: BCD396XT or BCD996XT Digital Scanners.

If you get a newer digital scanner. Then you could use Pro96com logging software on system like Vandenberg & other P25 systems.
