I have this in my unknowns log. Heard from Menifee, Riverside County, California
158.7750 110.9 Two OM with end of chat. "have a good weekend, see you on Monday" (simplex)
I will plug this into my scanlist and see if I hear anything to help narrow down.

This has long been licensed and used in Riverside county as a portable only frequency for public works type users. It's currently listed on a mobile only license that also shows a couple of law enforcement and fire department frequencies. I'm not sure what the current usage is. 110.9 is the "standard" VHF PL tone for Riverside county, so that pretty much confirms who the user you heard is.

Yep you are right. I monitored the frequency this morning and its being used by what sound like road crews working in the Perris/Cajalco area. All simplex.
