Default OT: Archived CHP logs available?

I'm trying to help someone whose daughter was critically injured Saturday morning on Interstate 15 near Temecula (Riverside County). CHP won't tell the family anything.

Their daughter is alive after many hours of surgery at Loma Linda. The circumstances of the accident remain a mystery to them.

Can anyone help?

CHP's public logs - highly "sanitized" and often taken offline in the event of an arrest - don't stay online for long. Do you have an approximate time?

It will be of no comfort to the family, but if the daughter is an adult, unfortunately the CHP may not be allowed by law (see 20012 CVC) to release much information about the crash to her parents.

On the Report Request info page, CHP-Public Forms note that it says "If you are a Party of Interest, you can go to any CHP office and pay a nominal fee for a copy of the report." and "Normally, a party of interest is anyone who is the driver, passenger, property owner, vehicle owner, parent of minor, or legal guardian of an individual, when the collision occurred. If you have any question whether you are a party of interest, please contact your local CHP office.
